Meet the family
When you call Camotes, you get the people whose name is on the truck. That's the whole point.
Miguel started Camotes Construction with a truck, a full set of tools, and a simple rule: leave every home better than you found it.
What began as one man taking calls around San Jose turned into a family trade. His sons grew up on the job sites, learning to measure twice and clean up after themselves. Today they run the crew together, and neighbors still ask for Miguel by name.
We're not the biggest outfit in the Bay Area, and we don't want to be. Staying small is how we keep the work honest and the same hands on your project from the first quote to the last nail.
Started the business in 2009. Still the first one on site and the last to leave.

A few things homeowners usually ask before they call.
Do you take small jobs, or only big remodels?
Both. A lot of our work is the small stuff other contractors won't bother with, right alongside full kitchen and bath remodels. If it's part of the house, chances are we handle it.
How much does an estimate cost?
Nothing. Estimates are always free, and the written price is what you pay unless you ask us for more work along the way.
What areas do you cover?
San Jose and the wider SF Bay Area, including Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Milpitas and the nearby towns. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
